Storm damage & insurance claims
Storm damage? Start with proof.
Most homeowners file a roof claim once in their life. The insurance company handles thousands a year. The best thing you can bring to that is clear proof of exactly what the storm did to your roof.
That’s where we come in. We inspect the roof, photograph every bit of damage, and give you a written report. The claim stays yours — South Carolina law doesn’t let a roofer negotiate it for you — but you won’t walk into it empty-handed.
How it works
-
1
Free storm inspection
We get on the roof and document the damage properly, with photographs, before anything gets filed.
-
2
You file the claim
With our photos and written report in hand. We’ll walk you through what we found in plain words.
-
3
We meet the adjuster
If you’d like us there, we’ll be on your roof to point out the damage we documented, so nothing gets missed.
-
4
If something was missed
If the estimate leaves out damage, or we find more once the old roof comes off, we document it so you can ask your insurer for a supplement.
-
5
We build your roof
Same 13-point scope. Same 15-year warranty.
What to expect, honestly
A roof claim usually takes about two months start to finish. Most of that is waiting on the insurance company. We’ll keep you posted on our end the whole way.
