You’ll always know who’s on your roof.
Rick Ross Exteriors is small by choice. When you call, you get Rick. When someone is up on your roof looking at the damage, it’s Rick or a member of our crew he has worked alongside and trained himself. When the insurance adjuster comes out, Rick is standing there with him.
We do hope to grow, and we mean to grow the way we work — carefully, and only as quickly as we can keep our word. Your job will never be handed to a salesman who has never held a shingle.
What we believe
Rick and Joan Ross run this company, and we belong to Christ.
We would rather that showed in how we treat people than in how we advertise. It comes down to a few plain things, and we hold to them gently but without exception:
- The number on your proposal is the number you pay.Anything that changes, changes in writing, with your say-so first.
- We tell you the truth about your roof.Including when the truth is that it's got five good years left and you should call us back then.
- We build the parts you'll never see the same as the parts you will.Nobody inspects the underlayment. We install it like somebody will.
- We finish what we start.And we come back when we say we're coming back.
- We treat your house like somebody lives there.Because somebody does.
Most people call us on a bad day. There is water coming through a ceiling, or a storm has taken half the shingles off, or the insurance company has stopped returning calls. Being trusted at a hard moment is the part of this work we hold dearest, and we try to meet people there kindly — the way we would want somebody to meet us.
The eagle on our logo
There is a verse beneath it. It is not decoration.
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” — Isaiah 40:31
A South Carolina roof in July will teach a man something about that verse. We have leaned on it a long while, and we intend to keep leaning.
Whatever this company becomes, and whatever good comes of the work, the glory belongs to God. We were only given the hands and the years to do it.
